Southern Oregon Football is Alive for 2008

The Southern Oregon football team opened it's training camp earlier this week and with a big senior class the Raiders are poised to have another winning season.
Last year SOU enjoyed it's first winning season since 2003, they finished with an overall record of 5-4.
The Raiders will open their season with an August 28th game away at Montana Tech, a team SOU lost to by two points last year and Head Coach Steve Helminiak put that final score on the scoreboard during practice Friday as a reminder.
With 14 starters and 80 letter winners returning this year Helminiak says the expectations have grown this season.
