Warm weather this weekend and there's lots to do that will get you outside to enjoy it!
There are just a few weeks left to enjoy summer vacation and this weekend there's lots of fun events to take you "on the town."
For two days only the world famous Lipizzaner Stallions perform at the Jackson County Expo.
The Lippizans march, leap, prance and intricately weave across the floor demonstrating the maneuvers that carried this fine breed from the battle field to the courts of nobility.
The 100-piece Britt Orchestra pays tribute to the golden era of movie music this weekend. Spend two evenings listening to some of Hollywood's greatest film music: Like the AdventureS of Robin Hood, Vertigo, North by Northwest, Dangerous Moonlight and The Bride of Frankenstein
Up for a boat race? How about a *pedal boat race? The student boat builders from Butte Falls High School present the Willow Lake Grand Pedal Boat Race with a prize of $100 to the fastest pedaler register by 11am Saturday. The race starts at 1pm.
Learn the art of face painting this Saturday! Why save the fun just for fairs and festivals, you can learn how to do it yourself at Scienceworks Hands On Museum in Ashland. The workshop starts at 1pm.
Shady Cove offers a two day event featuring 80 artisans. Saturday and Sunday see the work of 80 artists, photographers, and craftsmen. Enjoy live music, food, wine tasting and art demonstrations.
