The annual Dog Walk supports Dogs for the Deaf, headquartered right here in Southern Oregon, which is the oldest and largest hearing dog training center in the world. KTVL is happy to be a major corporate sponsor of this worth while annual event. Founded in 1977, Dogs for the Deaf spends its time and efforts training select dogs for a period of 5 to 6 months so they can assist those who are hearing-impaired. The Dog Walk has provided a much-needed source of support and funding for keeping the valuable work of Dogs for the Deaf avaiable to those who need hearing assistance.
